September   Keppel FELS is on track for the early delivery of PV Drilling II and PV Drilling III, two identical KFELS B Class jackup rigs to PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services Corp.

Keppel FELS is on track to deliver Gold Star, the world’s first DSS™ 38 semisubmersible to Brazilian operator, Queiroz Galvão Óleo e Gás (QGOG).

Keppel Singmarine is on track to deliver an ice class Floating Storage and Offloading vessel (FSO) to repeat customer, LUKOIL- Nizhnevolzhskneft (Lukoil). YURI KORCHAGIN will be the first ice-class FSO to be completed and deployed in the Caspian region.

Keppel FELS delivered Maersk Discoverer, the second of three DSS 21 deepwater rigs to Maersk Drilling.

Keppel Shipyard is on track to complete the conversion of the Floating, Storage and Offloading (FSO) vessel, Ratu Songkhla, for Malaysia’s M3nergy JDA Sdn Bhd (M3nergy).

Keppel delivered an Anchor Handling Tug/Supply (AHTS), Sea Comanche, to GulfMark Offshore, Inc. (GulfMark) and a Multi-purpose Duty Rescue Vessel, LANGEPAS to LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft (LUKOIL) respectively.

Keppel Shipyard successfully converted FPSO Armada Perdana for repeat customer Bumi Armada Berhad.

Keppel Singmarine delivered a Multi-purpose Duty Rescue Vessel, named Kogalym, on schedule to LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft.

Keppel O&M secured three contracts worth S$30 million, for the upgrading and repair of a semi accommodation rig, COSLRIVAL (ex-Port Reval), from China Oilfield Services Limited to be undertaken by Keppel Verolme, as well as Noble Drilling’s Noble Paul Wolff and Diamond Offshore’s Ocean Yatzy to be undertaken by Keppel FELS Brasil.

Keppel FELS delivered ENSCO 8501, the second of seven ENSCO 8500 Series® ultra-deepwater semisubmersibles (semis) being built for a subsidiary of longtime customer, Ensco International Incorporated.

Keppel FELS delivered a new jackup rig to China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) ahead of schedule and with a clean safety record of 2.5 million manhours without lost-time incident.

Keppel O&M secured three projects worth S$300 million; two awarded to Keppel Shipyard were for the construction of a derrick lay barge and the modification of a FPSO vessel while the third to Keppel FELS Brasil, through BrasFELS, was for the completion of a deep drilling semisubmersible.

Keppel FELS was awarded a bonus of close to S$1 million (US$625,000) for delivering the KFELS B Class jackup rig, Greatdrill Chetna, 20 days ahead of schedule, within budget and without incidents to Mercator Offshore Limited.

Keppel FELS completed Transocean’s Development Driller III, an ultra-deepwater drilling rig built to Keppel’s proprietary DSS™ 51 semisubmersible (semi) design.

Keppel FELS delivered the jackup drilling rig, Deep Driller 8, to Aban Singapore Pte Ltd on time, within budget and without incidents. Deep Driller 8 is the fifth unit to be delivered in a series of five KFELS Super B Class rigs for Aban since 2006.

Keppel AmFELS Inc delivered the jackup drilling rig, Offshore Intrepid, to Scorpion Intrepid Ltd, a subsidiary of Scorpion Offshore Ltd on time. With this delivery, Keppel AmFELS has completed the series of five LeTourneau Super 116 jackup rigs commissioned by Scorpion in 2005 without delay.

Keppel FELS delivered Maersk Resolve, the third of four high efficiency jackup rigs, to Maersk Drilling (previously Maersk Contractors), on time and incident-free.

Keppel O&M secured S$200-million new orders which include the upgrading and conversion of an FSO into a FPSO facility, FPSO Okha, by Keppel Shipyard for Single Buoy Moorings; the building of two RAmpage 5500 Z-M offshore support tugs by Keppel Singmarine for Seaways International and the construction of three tugboats at Keppel Cebu Shipyard.

Keppel AmFELS delivered Atwood Aurora, a newbuild jackup rig built to the LeTourneau Super 116E design, to Atwood Oceanics Pacific Limited.

Keppel FELS completed VIRTUE I, the second jackup rig built for Virtue Drilling, an associate company of India’s Jindal Drilling & Industries, ahead of schedule and incident-free.

     
November  

Keppel O&M secured four contracts worth S$340 million. Keppel Shipyard will undertake the conversion of an FSO for M3nergy JDA Sdn Bhd. and the construction of an internal turret for SBM Offshore. Keppel Verolme will undertake the refurbishment and outfitting of a semi-submersible multi-service vessel for Prosafe Rigs Pte Limited while Keppel FELS Brasil will undertake the fabrication, installation and integration of topside process modules for an FPSO for SBM Offshore.

Keppel Shipyard delivered its ninth FPSO, Espirito Santo to SBM Offshore, with a safety record of more than six million consecutive manhours without loss time incident.

Keppel Singmarine completed Asia’s first two icebreakers, Varandey and Toboy, designed to work in one of the harshest marine frontiers on Earth, the Arctic sea for LUKOIL-Kaliningradmorneft.

The consortium of Keppel O&M and Technip Engenharia S/A delivered its second FPU, the 48,000 tonne P-51, to Petrobras Netherlands BV. The project won accolades from Petrobras for excellence in project management and execution through the PRODEP award for two consecutive years in 2006 and 2007.

Keppel FELS delivered the jackup drilling rig, Deep Driller 6, to Sinvest AS, a subsidiary of Aban Singapore on time and within budget. Deep Driller 6 is the fourth unit to be delivered in a series of five KFELS Super B Class rigs, one of the world’s deepest drilling rigs, built for Sinvest.

Keppel Shipyard secured two conversion projects worth S$150 million. The first is from Single Buoy Moorings Inc, for the upgrading and conversion of a tanker into an FPSO and the second is from Golar LNG, for the conversion of Golar Winter (VT1), a Membrane LNG Carrier into an FSRU.

Keppel FELS secured a bonus of S$1 million for delivering a jackup drilling rig, DISCOVERY I, 49 days ahead of schedule and a safety record of more than 2.2 million manhours work without incidents, to Discovery Drilling, a joint-venture of Jindal Drilling & Industries.

Keppel AmFELS received a bonus of US$1.35 million upon the successful delivery of Offshore Vigilant, the fourth out of five jackup drilling rigs, to Scorpion Offshore.

Keppel FELS delivered Maersk Resolute, the second in a series of four high efficiency jackup rigs built for Maersk Contractors three days ahead of schedule.

Keppel FELS won the contract to build the seventh ENSCO 8500 Series® deepwater semisubmersible worth US$560 million for ENSCO International Incorporated.

Keppel Shipyard secured $110 million in contracts, for the upgrading and conversion of a tanker into an FPSO for Bumi Armada Berhad; the jumboisation of a dredger for Boskalis Westminster Shipping B.V.; and the upgrading and modification of an FPSO for the Tupi field in Brazil for BW Offshore Limited.

Keppel FELS together with ENSCO International Incorporated named ENSCO 8500, the first rig in the fleet of six new ENSCO 8500 Series® semisubmersibles worth US$2.5 billion in total.

Keppel Shipyard successfully converted FPSO Lewek Arunothai for EOC Limited, with the first part of the vessel’s refurbishment and life extension carried out at Subic Shipyard in the Philippines, while the engineering, procurement, topside fabrication, as well as remaining conversion and integration of topside works were completed in Singapore.

Keppel FELS and Maersk Contractors inaugurated Maersk Developer, the first in a series of three DSS 21 proprietary design semisubmersible rigs built for Maersk and the most technically advanced deepwater drilling rig to be designed and completed by Singapore to date.

Keppel FELS secured a US$160 million contract to build the seventh SSDT for Seadrill Asia Limited. The SSDT will be built to the KFELS SSDT™ 3600E model, designed by Keppel O&M's R&D arm, the Deepwater Technology Group.

Keppel FELS secured a US$420 million contract to build two KFELS B Class jackup drilling rigs for Seadrill Limited.

Keppel FELS secured a US$385 million repeat order to build a DSS™38 semisubmersible drilling rig for Brazilian drilling contractor group Queiroz Galvão Óleo e Gás (QGOG), to be named Alpha Star.

Keppel FELS completed its fourth KFELS B class jackup rig, West Ariel, for SeaDrill Limited within budget and three days ahead of schedule.

Keppel Singmarine clinched a contract to build a derrick pipelay vessel for Global Offshore International.

Keppel FELS secured a US$512 million contract to build ENSCO 8504, the fifth consecutive ultra-deepwater semisubmersible drilling rig for ENSCO International Incorporated.

Keppel AmFELS delivered Offshore Resolute, built to the LeTourneau Super 116 design and its third jackup drilling rig for Scorpion Offshore.

Keppel FELS delivered a KFELS Super B Class jackup drilling rig, Ocean Shield, to Diamond Offshore Drilling.

Keppel Singmarine received a US$10,000 bonus for excellent performance and safety record in the construction of Sea Kiowa, built to the in-house engineering design of the Marine Technology Development and which is the third of six AHTS vessels ordered by GulfMark Offshore, Inc.

     
March   Keppel FELS secured a contract to build a third KFELS B Class jackup drilling rig worth about US$205 million for PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services Corp.

Keppel FELS received US$40,000 from Awilco Offshore ASA for delivering the KFELS B Class jackup drilling rig, Wilboss, 10 days ahead of contractual schedule and without any lost-time incident during its construction.

For Maersk Contractors, Keppel FELS completed a jackup drilling rig of the MSC CJ50 design, named Maersk Resilient while Keppel Shipyard completed the complex conversion of the former 308,000-dwt VLCC Ellen Maersk into an FPSO, named Maersk Ngujima-Yin.

For its excellent track record in FPSO conversions, Keppel Shipyard secured contracts worth over $215 million for the conversion of a tanker for Maersk Contractors and the first US Gulf of Mexico FPSO for BW Offshore.

Keppel FELS completed its second drilling rig named Al-Zubarah for Gulf Drilling International, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Japan Drilling Co.

Keppel FELS delivered KFELS B Class jackup drilling rig, Wilboss, 10 days ahead of contractual schedule to Awilco Offshore ASA, a member of the Anders Wilhelmsen Group.

Keppel Shipyard secured a contract of about S$145 million for the integration and completion of the second newbuild Bully drillship awarded to Keppel by the same owners. Keppel secured the contract with a company jointly owned by Frontier Drilling and Shell.

Keppel Singmarine delivered Sea Apache, a 139-tonne bollard pull AHTS to Gulfmark Offshore Inc. on time and with zero loss time incident, receiving a bonus of US$10,000.
